A Few Last Minute Reminders

Letters, postcards, and packages are welcomed at camp. We do a mail call everyday and it is so exciting to get mail while you are a camper!! The camp staff asks that you only call the camp for emergencies. There is one phone line up at the camp and they like to keep it clear for emergencies. If you need to come pick you child up from camp early you will need to call the camp staff first and let them know when you will be coming.

Departure and Arrival Times:
We will plan to leave for camp on Monday, July 6th at 1:00 p.m. Your child will need to eat lunch before meeting at New Song. We will plan to leave at 1:00 so try to be at the church a little before 1:00. We will leave camp on Saturday, July 11th as soon as our designated cleaning areas are checked off. We usually get home between 11:00-11:30. We will have your kids give you a call as we head back into town.

What to Pack:

Sleeping bag or sheets and blankets
Pillow
Towel
Toiletries
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Clothes for warm weather
Clothes for cool weather (sweatshirts, jackets)
Umbrella
Tennis shoes
Bathing suit
Shoes to wear in the lake
Extra socks (for those wet days)
Camera
Any medicines you need (all will be checked in with the nurse)
Stuffed Animal friends to help you feel at home J
What not to bring:
Cash
Electronics
Cell Phones
Toys
Clothes with inappropriate slogans or pictures
